|
City Council revised Ordinance No. 6036 of the Rapid City Municipal Code at the March 16, 2015 City Council meeting. Per section 2.60.020 members of the City Planning Commission shall consist of nine voting and two alternate positions. Eight members shall be residents of the City with one member representing the 3-mile jurisdiction of the City. Members of the Planning Commission shall be qualified by knowledge or experience to act in matter pertaining to the development and administration of a comprehensive plan of development for the City, and shall not hold elective office in the municipal government. Ordinance No. 6031, a companion ordinance, clarifies that the Planning Commission will serve as the Board of Adjustments, also commonly referred to as the Zoning Board. Please confirm the following re-appointments and new appointment of Galen Hoogestraat to serve on the Planning Commission. |
